Off-the-shelf Environmental Training Courses

All environmental training courses are designed to last approximately 3 hours (not including any breaks) but can be adapted to last different lengths of time if necessary. The exact course content varies depending on the stage that your organisation is at in your environmental/waste/utility management system. These off-the-shelf courses can be adapted to suit any level of employee within your organisation.

Waste Management

This course introduces delegates to waste management and their role in the process. The course ensures that delegates know exactly what waste is in the eyes of the law and where waste is produced in your organisation. By the end of the course delegates should be able to make an active contribution to any waste management plan or help to initiate one.

Energy and Water Management

This course encourages delegates to think about where water and energy are used and wasted within your organisation. It also looks at how your organisation can be made more energy and water efficient using a variety of different methods. These methods include no-cost behavioural measures and invest-to-save measures that may involve some level of initial outlay. The course points delegates towards any funding and support that may be available for energy and water management both nationally and locally.

Introduction to Environmental Management Systems

This course provides a brief introduction to environmental management systems based on the international standard ISO 14001. In this course delegates look at the different stages of establishing and maintaining an EMS and the different roles that they may be able to play in supporting your organisation’s EMS.

Bespoke Courses
